Bread is no longer bread!
The body, like dough kneaded for baking, takes shape under pressure — it stretches, collapses, and forms anew.
A mouth with teeth that bites needs a gag!
This series seeks to capture embodiment and give voice to the silence hidden within human gestures — to make visible what everyday life conceals yet remains tangible.
As Rumi says:
“The bread of the body vanishes within the body;
the bread of the soul endures within the soul.”
Perhaps the bread of the body no longer tastes the same, but the bread of the soul finds endurance in art and thought — where art, born from pain, creates a space for reflection and hope.
