Embodiment

The body, as a living concept, has always been defined and redefined throughout history. The body is a concept that, in a context of ideas and behaviors, presents the form of human life before history. The body’s connection with the world is not just a physical connection, the body is the intermediary between man and the universe, the body is the subject, the body is the tool, the body is the goal, the body is the sign, the body is the concept, the body is the center, the body is the essence, the body is the identity, the body has rights, the body has value, the body is important, imagine life without the body or the removal of part of it… The world is understood through the body. And our worldview is based on understanding the body’s experiences of the world. The works exhibited here, with “The Theme of Embeddedness in the Habitat of Today’s Iran,” are a look at this.
