Along the 75 years indelible selfies of ASGHAR ALAGHEBAND
Selfie forefather
During the last few years, selfie has been used through different events. Most selfies are taken by holding the camera with hands as far as possible from yourself and with rotating the lens of the camera to your side. This way of photography replaced the timer photography. new methods improved and some sociologists and psychologists considered these selfies far from culture and being ethical. But we see a lot of professional photographers that became subject of photography but they didn’t take picture from themselves, nevertheless (ASGHAR ALAGHEBAND) wasn’t like this.
About 80 years ago when he was 4 years old, he took his first picture at SHARGH photo studio and the atmosphere of picture and camera caused him to love camera and picture and then the first sparkle of being interested in camera and picture, came to his mind and he bought his first camera at age 12 in Mashhad. (an automatic camera that he could just take picture in daylight) One of the pictures that he took from himself in 1329 was a picture in front of school of fine arts. He lied down on a curved tree on river bed and the background of picture was SI-o-SePOL bridge and the floodwater at April in Isfahan helped to improve the beauty of thatpicture(photographer put the camera on the back of bicycle and took that historical photo and 70 years later he won the first place of photo festival because of it).
Minas(an old photographer) taught ASGHAR how to take picture, because thefirst camera that he bought had a remote shutter release, so minas gave him a self-timer and told him: whenever you want to take picture from yourself, do it with this self-timer. They printed the photo at SHARGH photo studioand that photo attracted the attention of the manager of photo studio (ABDOLGHASEM KHAN JALA)and he retouched and printed the photo in size of 20*30 and then put it in his showcase.
Young ASGHAR that couldn’t hide his enthusiasm because of the choice of photography master of Isfahan, had another worry about taking photos and buying the camera without the knowledge of his father.
